As far as the beginning of 2025 is concerned, it is not yet clear whether there are signs of recovery for the export-oriented market. The Ukrainian-Russian conflict continues and all the transport problems for goods destined for Russia remain: long queues, changes in border regulations, ever more pressing documentation checks.
As far as Ukraine is concerned, we continue to export and import, but there are more and more problems here too at the borders - long queues, long waiting days before we can enter the European Community.
A recent emergency is the ever-increasing conscription of drivers who can be stopped even during transport and without warning are sent to the registration office and conscripted. Between the ages of 25 and 55/60, military mobilisation is compulsory, and only sick people, students or those with a special dispensation are exempt, as they work in strategic companies for the Ukrainian government.
